Hades is the God of the Dead and the King of the Greek Underworld, with whom he ruled together with his wife Persephone. Hades is typically portrayed holding a two-pronged fork-like spear and wearing his helmet of invisibility given by the Cyclopes; he is also often portrayed alongside Cerberus, the guard dog of the Greek Underworld.
